Ce projet s’appuie sur la notion de transition : entre le jour et la nuit, entre l’ombre et la lumière, entre le familier et l’inconnu.

Le familier que l’on peut interpréter par les cabines et l’inconnu par le couloir, un espace de passage. Au cœur de chaque cabine, un bloc en bois joue un rôle central. Il réunit plusieurs fonctions : rangements, petite douche, et vient surtout créer le rythme du couloir, ainsi ponctué par une série d’alcôves. Ces creux offrent aux passagers un endroit où s’appuyer, s’arrêter un instant, et observer le paysage qui défile.

Les cabines simples ont été conçues dans une logique de flexibilité : une porte miroir coulissante permet de les combiner facilement en une cabine quadruple, selon les besoins du voyageur. Les sanitaires partagés sont positionnés en extrémité de voiture, dans un souci de rationalité des flux. Au centre de la voiture, une suite vient ponctuer le dispositif. Elle propose un espace plus généreux avec lit double, salle de bain privative et toilettes, apportant une gradation dans les usages et les niveaux de confort.

This project is based on the notion of transition: between day and night, between light and shadow, between the familiar and the unknown. The familiar can be interpreted through the cabins, and the unknown through the corridor, a space of passage. At the heart of each cabin, a wooden block plays a central role. It combines several functions: storage, a small shower, and above all, creates the rhythm of the corridor, punctuated by a series of alcoves. These recesses offer passengers a place to lean back, pause for a moment and watch the landscape go by.

The single cabins have been designed with flexibility in mind: a sliding mirror door makes it easy to combine them into a quadruple cabin, according to the passenger's needs. The shared sanitary facilities are positioned at the end of the car, with a view to rationalizing flows. In the center of the car, a suite punctuates the layout. It offers a more generous space with a double bed, private bathroom and toilet, providing a gradation of uses and levels of comfort.
